Catalog Description

Using the lens of social justice, this class will explore basic concepts and theories for analyzing dynamics of ethnic group experiences, particularly those represented in California, and their relation to colonization, immigration, gender, problems of identity, racism, and social class.

Section Notes

Hybrid (on Canvas and In person) This class is 16 weeks and requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings will take place on Monday and Wednesday from 10:40 am to 12:00 pm at Mission Campus. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. For more information about °®¶¹´«Ã½Online, go to the °®¶¹´«Ã½Online website.
